Most evenings I spend time in my music room keeping the creative juices flowing.
Currently, I'm working on "Flights of Fancy" and my objective is to offer musical
adventures that take listeners on unexpected journeys. Each piece starts with a
single idea, vision, scenario or musical phrase...then imagination takes over and the
soundscapes unfold from there. My role is to make good sonic choices and stay out
of the way as the music happens. The "Today" and "Beyond" collections contain my
first new music in over twenty years, from 2023, 2024, & 2025. And while working on
the new pieces, I rediscovered older works from the '80s & '90s that were created in
much the same fashion and included them as the "Yesterday" collection. "Flights of
Fancy" is an ongoing project that delves into the past and the future, and also
reaches into inner and outer space. And I'm having a great time navigating as it
evolves.
